Mayur Virkar founded CodeMax IT Solutions in 2016 in Fatorda, Goa, with a vision to prove that world-class fintech technology could be built from India and delivered globally. His journey in technology began at age 10 when he assembled his first computer — setting the foundation for a career driven by relentless curiosity and an ambition to build something impactful.

Starting with a single international client — MoneyNetInt Ltd., an FCA-regulated UK Electronic Money Institution — Mayur grew CodeMax from the ground up. Under his leadership, CodeMax launched three proprietary fintech platforms: Astra (core banking), Prisma (digital onboarding & KYC), and Orion (transaction monitoring). The company now serves clients across Europe, the UK, Israel, the US, and India, with a team of 87+ professionals based in Goa.

In 2025, Mayur was recognised as Tech Leader of the Year at the Business Goa Awards for Corporate Excellence — awarded by the Deputy Chief Minister of Goa — for outstanding contributions to technology leadership, digital transformation, and building globally competitive technology ecosystems. His long-term vision: to grow CodeMax into a ₹1,000 crore enterprise built on world-class engineering from Goa for the world.
