How commissions are paid

Annual Plans
Commission is paid as a single lump sum upon CodeMax's receipt of the client's first annual payment. The full year's commission is settled in one transaction.
Monthly Plans
Commission is paid monthly for the first 12 months of the client's billing cycle. The partner earns their percentage on each monthly invoice as CodeMax receives it.
Key Terms
The effective commission basis is 12 months of fees in both cases. Commissions apply to new clients only and are always paid upon CodeMax's receipt of client payment — not on invoice date.

The Agreement

All partners must sign a formal Referral & Partner Agreement before any referrals or client introductions are made. This agreement:

  • Is non-exclusive — you are free to work with other companies and continue your existing business
  • Clearly defines commission rates, payment timelines, and the definition of an eligible new client
  • Protects both parties with mutual confidentiality obligations
  • Specifies the duration and termination conditions
  • Does not create an employment, agency, or joint-venture relationship
